Right before Hurricane Harvey Hit, we were able to pick up and save 10 Jack Russell Terrier/Beagle Mixes. These Terrier mixes were being hoarded in a home for a very long time- they were not spayed or neutered, and have been inbreeding for quite a while. They did not live great lives and were not well taken care of. All of them appear to be yellowish, needing dental work, and full vet care. So far two of them are Heartworm positive, all the rest do need to be treated as well.
Our rescue kept 3 of these 10 dogs, and the rest of them went to another rescue, so that all of them could get the attention and care that they desperately need.
Again, we are very lucky bc Iowa State University has agreed to do all of their spays and neuters, so we only need to raise money for their dental work and any other medical cost such as testing and medications, plus the cost of their care until they can find homes. Please consider making a donation toward these sweet Mixes- no donation is ever too small.
