Buffalo Bill was hit by a car and left in the road.
Buffalo Bill was brought to the rescue as a new born. He was safe in a foster home and greatly loved. When he was adopted, we thought he had found his forever home and we were so grateful. We thought he would be happy and healthy and we believed he would be safe and loved.
We were so wrong. We were called by animal control and told he was hit by a car. The family were entrusted him to gave him away and the new "owner" saw him be hit by the car. Per the witnesses he was left in the road. His new loving family did not comfort him. They did not render aid. They did not take him to a vet. Instead, he laid in the road until animal control arrived.
We were called and immediately took him to the vet. He has an injured leg with exposed tendons. He can walk but it hurts. The wounds have been cleaned and thankfully there are no broken bones. Sadly he is not out of the woods. If the leg becomes infected or the skin dies he could require multiple surgeries and even possibly amputation.
All we can do is pray and hope....
Please help us pay for his medical care.
