Rescue Teamsters, The Florida Division of Chinese Shar-Pei Network, Inc., A 501c3 Not for profit

Rescue Teamsters  is the Florida Division of Chinese Shar-Pei Network, Inc., which is -a 501c3 Not for Profit Rescue.  Our mission is to save pet's who have been thrown away, as we say, and put in shelters Or on the streets.   We provide all the medical treatment and rehab necessary to bring them back to good  health.  We  ensure they are loved and well taken care of and will never endure what their previous life gave them.  Under our rescue they will thrive, blossom and regain their confidence again, while getting all the vetcare needed to live a healthy life, both physically and mentally.  At Rescue Teamsters we provide foster care, to all our rescues, in loving homes as we continue to find approved loving forever homes for each and every one.

We are their voice, their arms and their legs, to work hard for them to carry out our mission, for a life they have always deserved.

Every pet deserves to live, be loved, and be healthy .

This poor Senior had no idea what was in store for him last week when his owner decided she was going to dump him at MDAS shelter!  All he knew for 14 years was his owner.  He only knew his home, and surroundings, because he is blind.  For A Christmas present his owner was bringing him to the shelter!
We were able to intercede and save him from stepping 1 foot into that horrible shelter.  Poor Bear Bear was a mess, his coat a horrible mess and many area's missing.  We immediately brought him to our vets.  Unfortunately, he has a tumor in his left eye and his left eye is 10 times the size of a normal eye.  He will need Enucleation surgery and biopsy. Currently as is, it is very painful.   We have no idea how long this poor boy has lived with this
We have had a full blood panel done,  Tick test, HW test, bathed, and currently on antibiotics for his skin.
He is scared and unaware of where he is at.  But he is getting love and attention.  Once surgery is completed he will go to his foster home, who is anxiously waiting for him.
We desperately need your help to proceed with his surgery that is absolutely necessary, due to the tumor and the enlarged eye. Let's band together and get this boy what he needs, so he can have a wonderful painfree Christmas in a warm loving home this year
We are a 501c3 Not for Profit Rescue. All donations are tax deductible.  We must reach our goal to proceed with surgery.  Surgery + Biopsy + Medications + bloodwork + tick test + HW test + temporary board at vets until surgery =  $980.00

UPDATE: Sweet Bear Bear is at his foster home recovering from eye removal surgery. He is doing well. Actually, our foster said of all the blind pups she has fostered or taken in at elder age, he immediately finds his way around, doesn't have much fear, except the grass, lol. likes all the other dogs, and loves people. We have a feeling he is feeling a whole lot better since his eye has been removed and all that pressure is gone.

UPDATE: Bear Bear is doing much better and his eye is healing well. See his updated pgotoes at his perminent foster home. For being blind, he sure knows how to get around. He has totally amazed his foster mom.

UPDATE: Our sweet Bear Bear had his surgery Thursday and went on to his temporary foster mom until after Christmas, then he will go on to his long term foster mom. Bear Bear is 14 years old. his owner was dumping him at MDAS, we stopped it. This poor boy is blind, he had one eye severely extended and it was found by our vet, he had a tumor in his left eye. He had his eye removed last Thursday, due to a tumor and the eye bulging 10 times the size of a normal eye. Our Vet was gracious enough to allow us to leave, some balance on the bill. We paid part but haven't raised the entire amount, Please continue to share and donate, so we can hit our goal, to pay off Bear Bears vetting, Max's Vetting, and Kuai's remainder of vet bill. We want to save more babies, put need to take care of our vets too, so we can bring more in.

We thank all who have donated. We know we can reach our goal. Please donate and share !

Bear Bear, our blind, 14 year old boy, is doing much much better.  He had 1 eye removed as a result of glaucoma which caused bulging and pressure/pain.  He is one strong boy!  His foster said, she only hopes to have as much energy at  98, that Bear Bear has!  That's 14 x 7 years = human life.  We are very short our goal to pay our vet and the specialist aftercare.
Any amount will help

Thanks so much from RT Team

Bear Bear had to have his eye removed and he is now blind. Despite this setback, he is doing incredibly well at our foster sanctuary. He still needs to go see an eye specialist.

Sweet Bear Bear went to specialist today. It's confirmed he has a massive infection, that will need to be surgically removed.  Bear Bear is 14 years young. His owners we dumping him at a high kill shelter whike keeping their young puppy. We saved him. We had his eye removed with tumor, which was very painful b4 removed.
Other than this infection, Bear Bear acts lije a young vibrant pup, although he is completely blind and partically deaf. He runs and plays with his fosters  other  pups.
Please, let's get this surgery. Please donate. No amount is too small. We can do our part if you can do your part and together, we can fix this, and Bear Bear will live his life with love and harmony.
His bloodwork is amazingly good!!! Just this setback of this surgical infection

we have an emergency. Poor Bear Bear has developed a severe infection where is eye was removed. The area may need to be re opened, which will require surgery. Our poor boy, just cannot catch a break.

We never reached our original goal of $980, but now have raised it to include treatment costs, by our vet for this infection. If left untreated it could spread, and take Bear Bear's life. Other than this issue, he acts like a young, vibrant boy, but he is 14 years old!

He plays with the other dogs at his foster home, although he is blind and partially deaf. You wouldnt know it though.

Please donate, then share. Sharing is caring.
