Zeek Surgery and Treatment for Large Growth
Breed: American Bulldog
Caution: Graphic Photos Included
Zeek was picked up by a good samaritan standing in the middle of a very busy intersection in the Cutler Bay area of Florida. They called Chain of Love because of a horrible growth on the shaft of his penis and they knew they did not have the means to take care of him. When we arrived, there was blood on the side walk and he was rushed to the vet. Even though he was in pain, all he wanted to do was give kisses and touch you with his paw. When he arrived at the vet he immediately went into surgery.
We know it is cancer but the severity is not known yet. On top of that he is also diagnosed with a tick-borne disease Ehrlichia. He is a young boy of about 2 years old. Please help us give a second chance Zeek a new start.

Prayers needed! Can you open your home to this sweet boy? It is heartbreaking to think he will spend the end of his life alone in boarding.
Zeek was found bleeding on the sidewalk in a bad neighborhood due to a large tumor. We had the tumor removed but four months later he has to have another removed near his eye.
We have a poundWISHES fundraiser to cover the cost.
Well our poor baby is not doing well this morning. We will update you when we know more. We are thankful that through your help, we at least have him off the streets and are keeping him comfortable.

The vet has no way of knowing how long zeek has. It could be a few months or a few years.
Getting a second tumor so soon isn't a good sign, but we will continue to care for him.

The doctor could not get the entire tumor out with out removing the eye because it was so deep.
It shows to leave the eye since we don't know how long zeek has.
Will update soon with more specifics.

Zeek had the tumor removed from his eye yesterday. We are now seeing lesions on his side.
We are requesting blood work and waiting to speak to the doctor, who will be back tomorrow.
We pray that all will turn out ok.
