CHAMPION: AMPUTATION SURGERY & WHEELCHAIR - PLEASE HELP!
Color: White with Black
Champ came to us at only a few weeks old after a breeder wanted to put him down. His back legs didn't work and he would not be worth anything to this backyard breeder, so he was taken to a vet to be euthanized. Luckily, we were contacted, and Champ found his way into our hearts. He is with a wonderful foster family growing stronger every day, but now as he is approaching his first birthday and already had a few surgeries, the time is coming to decide if he needs amputation and a wheelchair or if he can be healed. All of the medical procedures are getting to be too much for the rescue and we need your help! Every little bit helps!
UPDATE: Because of an infection, Champion had to get his amputation earlier than expected. We're still trying to raise the money to pay back all of his medical bills and wheelchair purchase though, so thank you for your continued support!

Champion got his wheels yesterday! This is his very first time rolling in the wide open! He was a little unsteady, but got the hang of it pretty quick. Always looking to his foster momma for a little reassurance. While Champ now has his wheels, Barks of Love still needs help paying for his multiple surgeries and his wheelchair. Any amount is appreciated. Champ's campaign being fully funded means that Barks of Love can continue with his care and continue to save others like him. Be a apart of Champ's story today! Thank you!

Look at Champ! He's recovering nicely and able to move about without dragging his surgery points. He gets his wheels this week, so stay tuned for those updates. Please consider donating towards his medical costs. And a big thanks to everyone that has donated thus far!

Champ has developed an infection in one of his legs and will need his amputation surgery much sooner than we anticipated. We are working with our vet to schedule his surgery and get his wheelchair ordered. We need all the help we can get!
