Meet Chloe. Chloe was found on the streets of Texas, another victim of tragic animal cruelty.
It is speculated that Chloe was hit in the head with a baseball bat, fracturing her skull and causing visual and head trauma. She was brought to a veterinarian the end of February where a drain was placed, she was given clavamox, and sent home with her foster to recuperate - only, Chloe is not recuperating very well.
She has been battling her infection for 3 weeks now with no improvement. She was posted on Facebook begging for rescue help, and once again no one stood up to help this poor girl, except for Oliver's Orphan Oasis. We couldn't get much information from her first veterinarian regarding her condition, so we moved her to Aldine Veterinary Clinic in Houston, TX for re-evaluation of her condition and needs.
Chloe is going to have quite a road ahead of her, she has suffered so greatly with no improvement. Please, help us be sure Chloe received the proper medical care she requires for her condition. We are not sure if Chloe will regain her sight, or what is in store for her future - but here at OOO we spare no expense for our orphans in an effort to ensure their complete recovery, rehabilitation, and finding their perfect furever home.
Oliver's Orphan Oasis, Inc. is a 501c3 non-profit special needs animal rescue located in (but not limited to) the beautiful Hudson Valley Area - New York. We pull animals from anywhere in the United States where the needs are greatest. Please find it in your heart to donate to Chloe during her time of need. We won't give up on her and would greatly appreciate any additional support or donations. Thank you in advanced for giving Chloe her second chance!

Chloe has successfully undergone her surgery to remove the bone fragment from her skull which was impeding her healing. Our poor sweet girl also had her spay surgery as well and is recovering in foster until she can make her way up to New York to find her furever home.
We just knew something was wrong when her infection was not clearing up, and we never give up! A huge thank you to Aldine Veterinary Clinic in Houston for taking our case and fixing up sweet Chloe!!!

Chloe's infection is not healing due to skull fragments. Her body sees them as foreign objects and continues to try and fight them. She will be scheduled for surgery this week to remove the fragments and hopefully start to heal. So far we think she still has vision in the eye close to the fracture... but time will tell.
Please continue to share for Chloe. ❤Thank you ❤
