$1,940.00 raised of $2,400.00

Bentley has until Aug. 18th to raise the funds he needs to save his life. He has been in boarding since March 6th and needs us now more than ever.

Bentley is a 1-2 year old boy who was saved off of the Euthanasia list at a high kill shelter in NYC and unfortunately is still at risk . Bentley was living on the streets and was completely emaciated when he came to Save Our Strays.  He was due to be put to sleep because he had kennel cough, an injured tail and skin issues.
His tail injury was what is referred to as "happy tail" which means he wags his tail so much that while being confined to a metal cage he severely injured it and it took many weeks of bandages to heal. He has put on a ton of weight and has fully healed physically but is still facing many challenges.

Bentley is extremely reactive around other animals and is truly struggling. He can not stay in his current boarding place and we have received a deadline for him to be moved. we have set up train and board with Dogs 360 and we are confident Bentley can make a full recovery when in his trainers care. We believe many of Bentley's issues stem from surviving on the streets for most of his young life and is not just "who he is". Ernesto at Dogs 360 has tremendous experience rehabilitating dogs much like Bentley and we are confident this is the most important step to Bentley being adopted and living a happy life. Bentley is a complete mush with humans including children and he just wants to be snuggled and get belly rubs.  He is too sweet of a dog to not help.

PLEASE consider making a donation toward Bentley's train, board, and help save this big mushy guys life!
