Rainy's Fund: Amputation Surgery, Laceration, & Emaciation Recovery.

$310.00 /$800.00

Color: Black

Rainy was found abandoned on the side of the road in Crystal Springs, Mississippi with many lacerations to her body, a badly broken leg, and extremely emaciated. She was taken in to Rescue Tails and went straight to the vet to get a very large abscess on her side drained. Her severely broken back leg will need to be amputated however, Rainy cannot undergo surgery until she is strong enough to be put under. We believe she was hit by a car and dragged across the pavement. We can't be sure because she is a stray and we have no record of her history.

Despite this horrific situation, Rainy is absolutely amazing and is an absolute sweetheart. Even when she was first brought in and lying on the vets table, Rainy's tail would not stop wagging and she was persistent with trying to give us kisses of appreciation. She will make a wonderful pet to a loving furever family.

Please help us raise funds for her surgery and recovery. Any dollar amount will make a world of a difference.

Update on Rainy!!

She's doing great and is in good spirits. She's on medication to manage her pain and she doesn't seem to be hurting at all. Her amputation surgery will be done at a later date, once we have time to get her healthy. She's doing great around other dogs and even cats. She really is a wonderful dog that will make someone a great companion one day!
