I am sure you all remember me, I am the momma who had a dead baby hanging out. I do have a name, my name is Areli, it means fighter! The good news is, I am living up to my name! When I first got to the vet, they saw the dead puppy hanging out--upon further examination the vet removed the puppy and found there to be 8 more dead puppies inside of me. I had trouble delivering the puppy, causing him to get stuck which then caused the puppies inside of me to die.

The vet also noticed m my hip to be dislocated. After I had my surgery to remove the puppies, I also got spayed. My hip is still dislocated but I need time to recover from the first surgery before I get my hip surgery. Not to mention I am weak and just skin and bones. To add to my mess, I am also heart worm POSITIVE. I will need to get heart worm treatment on top of everything else. I am currently being fostered in a home with a great foster momma recovering and getting my medicine. She also feeds me boiled eggs everyday!

Once I am strong enough and well recovered I will be getting my hip surgery. With all of this comes vet costs, which has added up fast and will continue to add up. I am so thankful that Georgia Animal Rescue & Defence has scooped me up and is saving my life. Do you think you could help us out by donating to my vet costs? You can donate here, or call the vet directly and let them know you'd like to make a payment to "Areli's surgery". I believe that with everyone's donations we can help get my surgery paid for!

Thank you for helping save my life! If I surpass my donation goal, the extra money will be used towards other dog(s) at the rescue. Thank you for helping save my life!!
