Bella was found as a stray, walking the streets of Indiana alone and confused.
Bella's owner tried to claim her from the shelter that had picked her up and they threatened to press cruelty charges, which lead her owner to surrender her. Once Bella was free from her owner, the shelter in Indiana called Central Ohio Pomeranian Rescue for help. We saved Bella and found her a foster right away.
Bella has had a fractured leg, pelvis, tail and femur from the past. She has a large hernia and a mouth full of rotten teeth. The vet thinks that the hernia most likely happened when she was run over or from a bad fall. Bella's hip is so messed up that she doesn't walk very well and she has a bad case of spinal degeneration.
We need help to pay for her surgeries, procedures and medical care. Please consider making donations to help with Bella's medical needs. Thank you so much.
