This young puppy was found in a box after someone stomped her leg, shattering her bones.
Jaelyn is a sweet natured six-month-old girl that was found in the middle of nowhere laying in this box. A nice woman noticed her and took her to the Palmdale shelter. Unfortunately for Jaelyn, she didn't have much chance of getting out of the shelter with her current situation.
Mutt Hut Rescue stepped up and pulled her from the shelter before she was euthanized. They wanted to get her the medical treatment that she desperately needed. Upon inspection, the vet relayed that because of the nature, shape, and result of the injury, it was likely that a human stomped on her.
Mutt Hut decided to name this pup Jaelyn because it means young fighter and survivor, which is exactly what she is! Mutt Hut is currently waiting on estimates for her surgery, but this kind of procedure is always pricey. She will also have to spend 6-8 weeks in foster care while she heals. Jaelyn has a long road ahead of her, but no human will ever hurt her again and she will be forever loved!
