  • Sex: Male
  • Age: Baby

$250.00 raised of $380.00

Found by an employee of the Cafe 2 Go coffee shop, Kitty was not looking for a Quad vente skim no foam latte that morning, what he really needed was help.

It was clear that this kitten was not in good shape and needed immediate medical care. He was weak, would not eat, his left eye was completely closed and he had a very infected cut on his neck.

Kitty's rescuer reached out for help with the vet costs as it needed to be immediate and she couldn't let this tiny kitten suffer.

A vet visit revealed he has parasites, an intense infection in his left eye, as well as an infection around his broken tooth, the cut on his neck and his lungs.

The poor thing has been through so much in his short life but luckily he found someone to help. His rescuer will spend lots of time nursing Kitty back to health with 3x day eye cleaning, medicine for the infections and the parasites and lots of love.

Please contribute what you can to Kitty!  He has a lot of healing to do but we are hopeful he will be happy and healthy soon.

  • A few more days of antibiotics before they test KITTY again to see if his eye can be saved.

The glaucoma levels are high so there is still a chance it may need to be removed. This eye never closes.

Either outcome, thanks to all your donations, we are able to support his rescue mom now forever mom with KITTY's vet services.

Unfortunately this little Grey Tabby has several conditions still needing treatment

  • Still waiting on full diagnosis

We are trying to close kitty wish because he is so close to a happy home ending.  But unfortunately we are still waiting on our vets to fully diagnosis his eye needs.  That was to happen today but due to vet machine issues it has been pushed back to Tuesday next week

He doesn't seem to mind :)

  • Look how beautiful a kitty that would not have survived without rescue

  • From his rescuer Mara, who had the love and home for him but not the money!

Hola! I took Enzo for the glaucoma study and the percentage were high. I have to take him again next Friday to make the same study and compare both results. Meanwhile he needs to keep taking the antibiotic and the vitamins.

  • someone's eye is looking better

He is still under care so please support his rescue!  No doubt he would have not survived on the streets!

  • KITTY just can't catch a break

Just as he's feeling better, his anemia is under control and he is finally able to open his infected eye, the vet noticed he still has significant swelling.  After an X-ray was done they saw an abscess behind the eye causing it to push on the eye.  Antibiotics will be given for another 14 days and then another evaluation down in Cabo Rojo to test further to rule out glaucoma. Keep KITTY in your thoughts.

Any donations would be appreciated as the tests needed will add to his vet bill and will allow us to continue to help this young kitten and his rescuer, now forever mom.

  • KITTY had his first Vet visit.  What a sad situation we are thankful will get better now!  Thanks to you!

"The Vet said some injuries are from dog bite and some look like he was mistreated.  Because his teeth are broken.  And he was super skinny.  No one was feeing him and he is not afraid of humans, meaning he wasn't wild on the streets!"   Please donate and share for KITTY!!
