is now

To better serve our animal-loving community as we move into the future, we plan to expand our offering. And in the process, we thought a name change was in order is now

"Cuddly" is how we feel about animals and it's how animals make us feel. That being said, while there are many upcoming changes, our mission remains the same. We aim to help animals around the world live better lives through innovation, community, and kindness. Thank you for being a part of our movement and, now, the family.

Lifeline Oro Valley Animal Rescue (LOVAR)

Lifeline Oro Valley Animal Rescue (LOVAR) is a registered 501 c 3 non profit charity organization that rescues the most at cats and dogs from county shelters. Almost all are e-listed and comprise of those that are feral, fearful, shy, timid, labeled aggressive, bonded, seniors, sick, valley fever, heartworm and others that are disadvantaged. We are breed, size, gender, age neutral. All animals are welcome in our rescue. Our commitment to these animals is lifelong. We never surrender or return a cat or dog for any reason and we are a no kill rescue, meaning if the dog or cats we rescue are treatable, rehabilitable and saveable, we will not give up on them. LOVAR is also 100% volunteer operated so every penny donated is used to support the animals.

We are partnered with Pima, Pinal and Maricopa county shelters.

We believe that animals in shelters should be safe and not at risk of being destroyed. Our organization works toward shelter reform and creating non-lethal solutions, programs and resources for the shelter as well as host adoption events for the shelter animals, spay and neuter mobile clinic days and provides assessment and foster programs at the shelter to give others more chance of leaving the shelter alive. We also work with the community of aversion programs to help prevent animals from entering the shelter and have saved many lives by finding alternate safe outlets.

We are dedicated, committed and devoted. Please help support our work and help us help them.
